GCER Meeting Minutes 4-17-07 @ Bakers Square, Auburn
Meeting called to order at 7:20pm by Pres. Potato Richardson.
Late start due to all having a good time socializing.
Guests: JD Molsovich, friend of Potatos, doing her first endurance ride at the American River Ride.
Potato went around the room introducing JD to the members in attendance, as names were said - Potato
brought up some fun history and stories about all, with many laughs and chuckles.

Treasury Rpt by Jon. Bal. $4479.78. 25 members paid so far.

Old Business
Jon updated us on the benefit for Dale Warner- (who does excellent
saddle work). $3500 raised.
Cherryl on GCE Ride, Starting on the Sierra Pacific contract, Trying to get the Airport stop back
again. Discussed Bobs efforts on getting the Vets lined up possibly having 3 vet on Fri / 5 for Sat.
New Business
Group discussion on the results of the feasibility study presented by
Parks and Rec. at the March community meeting, for the crossing at Coffer Dam
area. A lot of input from the locals, have pointed out there is an addition possibility called option 5. To put a
crossing at the water plant, using existing trails, which would have less
expense associated with the build of the bridge.
