Minutes for GCER,     June16,2009

The meeting was at the lovely home and pool house of the Larkin's in Greenwood. The meeting was called
to order by president Potato Richardson. We had 40 people present, with three guests, Erin and Paul Klentos,
and Ken Keel, and two children Kora and Kemp Keel. We have two new members Tony Texeria
and Dianna Hiiesalu-Bain

The minutes were read and approved with a motion by Jim Holbrook and seconded by Nikki Marlo.
Treasurer Dianne Dalton reported we have $3080.53 in our account.

Old business

A report was given on our Gold Country ride by Doyle and Pam Bailie. We have only a few entries so far.
Jon Saunders has volunteered to haul horses at the vet checks. Martin Makin will be in charge of water. Niki is
in charge of P and R's, and Mike Hartman is in charge of the BBQ. Karin Occhialini has the vet check at Darling
ridge, and Donna Williams has the vet check at the airport, and I have the timers covered. A Big Thank you to all
of our volunteers, we couldn't do this ride without you.

New business

Kristy Hartman on Sam won the Coolie Ranch ride and also got BC on day one. Third on dayy 2. Potato came
in 2nd on FiFi and Tamara third on Zoltan.

Four of our members went to the NASTAR ride and did very well. Karin Occhialini on Merlin who did his first 50
and did very well. Cindy Larkin on J.P. came in 5th and Nanci Gabri came in 2nd. Diane Dixon -Johnson came
in 4th on the 75 mile. They all had a great time. Congratulations to all.

Mary Abbott reported she was pulled at 25 miles at the Cache Creek ride and said she wished she had gone to our
club ride in Nevada as our weather at the club ride was a lot cooler .

Dianne Dalton has vests if you ordered them and she will take orders for anyone else who wants one.

It was moved by Jim Holbrook to adjourn the meeting and seconded by Doyle Bailie. The meeting was adjourned
by Potato Richardson. A big thank you to Joe and Cindy Larkin for hosting our meeting. It was a great turnout and great
food. Our next meeting will be held at Marie Callender's on July 21st.
